peasant.synth

Users of peasant.synth are able to compose music in a very intuitive way, just displaying little elements, as could be stones, over a monitored surface. Through computer vision and generative audio techniques we establish a link between the rusticity of its interface, the complexity underlying the whole system and a direct engagement with the user.

Beneath the simplicity and humbleness of its set-up lies a chain of processes that includes visual analysis with computer vision and digital audio synthesis.

It was shown for the first time at Circuit Control'20, in Dresden, Germany.
