The Dance of the Seeds is an art-didactic project about food resilience based on traditional crops, and the growing importance of these in a global food policy system based on monocultures dominated by corporations.
The continuous loss of cultivated variety and the preservation of adapted species are some of the most important challenges we face to maintain a healthy and sustainable diet, in a reality of accelerated climate mismatch.
During 2023 it was inaugurated both in Madrid, in the building Escuelas Pías, (collaborator of the UNED), and in the Museu de la Vida Rural, in l'Espluga de Francolí, Tarragona. Both exhibitions within the framework of the project"Brotando entre ciencia y arte", curated by Raquel Ajates and with the participation of other artistic projects carried out by Marco Ranieri and Javier Forment, located at the intersection between art and science.
Exhibition in the framework of the research project Daniel Carasso Fellowship and its call for artistic curators, an initiative funded by the Carasso Foundation and UNED, with the Museu de la Vida Rural (Fundación Carulla) and Red Planea.
